Home Visit - Hybrid Consult

Service Description

My intention is to help you reach your goals by listening with care and curiosity. I aim to help everyone get their needs met including your baby who is also trying to share with us what's going on for them. Our visit can last 45-90 minutes (or less if that's what's indicated) and you'll be able to ask all of your questions. For families living in Nevada or Placer county, I'm working closely with Ashlee Wilkin, a postpartum doula, who can join our call in your home to be my hands as we also meet virtually. She can also provide in-home massage, nutrition support, and additional postpartum help. After our consult, I will email you a follow up plan of care and any links or referrals I think may be helpful. We stay in touch for at least 1 week afterward via text/email and you can also join my postpartum group for free to continue to ask questions and build community with other parents of newborns (currently we meet on Thursdays at 1:00). My care is as comprehensive as possible so you feel confident and supported. We can help you with: positioning, latch, comfort, milk production, weight gain, infections, pumping, saving milk, reflux, gas/discomfort, supplementing, weaning and newborn care. Or I can also help you with early parenting questions, infant sleep or postpartum planning. It's recommended that you take some time to write down all of your questions and/or details that you'd like to share with me. Here are some topics I'll likely ask about: birth experience, feeding challenges and history (how often you feed, weight gain, number of stools in 24 hours) and your maternal health history. I'll also ask you what your feeding goals are and what steps you are willing to take. I accept Venmo, PayPal as well as credit card here.
